I too got scammed by bidfuel and then canceled my card as i did not sign up for their services. I think they should be fined big time for this. I do not buy from the internet because of this reason.

I'm with the majority here. I got linked to bidfuel through a special offer from NetSleuth so I signed up for the free trial. I quickly decided I didn't have any use for their service so I called the phone number they list. It cannot be dialed. It's a bad number.

I immediately called my bank and they agreed to cancel my credit card immediately and send a new one. BidFuel will steal no money from me. I suggest anyone who gets trapped by them should have the card cancelled/blocked and replaced immediately.

I WOULD JUST LIKE TO COMMENT ON WHAT EVERYONE IS SAYING ABOUT BIDFUEL. I WAS A MEMBER OF BID FUEL FOR A WHILE AND I NEVER HAD ONE PROBLEM WITH THEM. I SOLD THE ITEMS ON EBAY AND ALWAYS RECIEVED POSATIVE FEEDBACK FROM THE BUYERS. I HAVE ALSO BOUGHT SOME OF THERE ITEMS FOR MYSELF AND THEY ARE GREAT PRODUCTS.
NOW FOR THE CANCELING THING I CALLED ONE TIME AND MY ACCOUNT WAS CANCELED AT MY REQUEST WITH NO EXCUSES.
ONE OTHER NOTE..A SCAM ARTIST IS SOMEONE THAT RIPS YOU OF AND DOES NOT DELIVER WHAT THEY PROMISE,BIDFUEL IS FAR FROM A SCAM ARTIST.

I thought I was getting free information when I signed up for a "free tool kit". I have never sold anything on Ebay but just wanted to learn more about it. It came in a link in my email from Bidfuel. I first thought the $39.95 was a charge for gasoline in October. The second one in November prompted me to call the number given on my bank statement with the charge to find out what the charge was for. After three phone calls I managed to cancel but I am having a terrible time getting my $79.90 back. I still have the eamail they sent with the offer but the link they sent me is not accessible anymore. There was no information about a trial period or cancelling during a trial period as there is on their current web site. When I call them, they tell me they cannot return my money because they cannot find my bank account number, my name, my address, or my phone number in their system. Someone needs to shut them down. They are scam artists.

Just to add on a bit of information... BidFuel.com offers a trial offer which is supposedly risk free...you can cancel at anytime (before your card is charged the monthly fee). This is the other part of the scam. When you try to cancel the trial, they claim that they do not have your information in their system and ask you to call back the following day. When you call back, and everytime thereafter, they encounter the same "problem" thus not allowing you to cancel before the trial membership expires and your credit card is charged no matter what you do. Most banks will not cancel a single transaction such as this one, but will cancel any further charges. You have to file a dispute with your bank for a refund. This company found a nice loop-hole...BEWARE! If you have been scammed by them, PLEASE contact the BBB.com and file a complaint. There are already a ton of complaints out there with BidFuel.com - check it out on the web.
