Advertising doesn’t lie! Or at least when a company advertises their own products’ weaknesses, you can believe they’re at least as bad as they say they are. So I guess Toyotas must be busted.
The ad I’m referring to is the one where they brag that they have nine models that get better than 30 mpg on the highway. 30? And this is something to brag about? I don’t think so! My Saturn gets 40.
To be fair, Saturn’s current models don’t get 40 mpg. What’s up with that? I thought when they replaced a car model, the new one was supposed to be better. I just hope that with gas prices going the direction they’re going, car companies will put a little more emphasis on fuel efficiency again.
