The Ultimate Base Jump

In my dream, I'm standing atop a cliff at the top of a mountain ten miles high. I look down through a narrow gap between two cliffs in front of me and see the ocean far below. After considering the distance I would have to go forward and the size of the gap, I jump. As I fall the first few thousand feet, I glide forward through the gap and clear the rest of the mountain. Then I start thinking about what I'm going to do when it's time to land in the ocean. I realize that I'll be falling too fast to simply dive in, so I use a little dream magic to conjure up a parachute. I decide that when I'm about 50 feet up, I'll cut it loose so that it won't come down on top of me.
