In my dream, I was rock climbing. I wasn't using ropes, so the rock must not have been particularly high or difficult.Near the top, I was about to lower down (at some point, ropes must have made their way into the dream). I looked down and saw that I was very high, and that the cliff I was climbing hung over the ocean. I could see that the rope wouldn't be long enough to let me all the way down, so I'd either have to finish climbing to the top, or slide off the end of the rope and drop into the water. I considered that, and decided that as far as I'd have to drop, I'd end up going deeper into the water than I wanted too. Plus there was a chance of landing where the water wasn't deep enough. So I decided to go up.

My two elder brothers were there, perhaps also climbing, and both of them decided to drop or jump into the ocean. One did so without any trouble. The other, on his way down, was getting too close to the cliff, but managed to reposition himself so that he floated out over the ocean, and didn't have any trouble. But I still wanted to go up.

One of my brothers was above holding my rope, and wasn't going to let me come up. I think after I managed to get up to the top, he was still trying to throw me off. We had a bit of an argument about that.
