I don't suppose I need to rant about this for long. Daylight savings time is a nuisance. Changing clocks, adjusting to a new sleeping schedule, and figuring out time zone differences based on the time of year, are a pain. Would it be so difficult for the (probably rare) business or school that feels the need to pack extra in daylight at a particular end of their day during part of the year to simply change their hours of operation, rather than requiring everyone to deal with the issue? If the entire world observed DST in exactly the same way, it would be less of a nuisance, but still a nuisance nevertheless.
