Referring to Steve Jobs' keynote mentioned in my last entry, The Register notes that "Safari will get Arse-Feed support (both RSS and Atom) in the next version, which the audience met with a stunned silence." The article then proceeds to be stunning silent on the question of what an "arse-feed" is. Was the article's author an arse who doesn't know that Jobs was saying "RSS", an arse who doesn't recognize the value of RSS, or an arse who was trying to be funny? Okay, I thought "arse-feed" was funny.

I assume that by "stunned silence", he meant that few people had any idea what Jobs was talking about, or that they didn't care whether RSS support got integrated into the browser. Journalists should be a little more clear.
